Safety and Security Solutions for Project Management
IDtek provides innovative solutions based on confirmed technologies to address the safety and security requirements of clients. We address the specific safety and security issues of the client premise by first assessing the risks, providing recommendations for risk reduction, and ultimately deciding on the best possible solutions in close cooperation with the client company.
Our long list of satisfied clients in diverse industries is proof of our commitment to client satisfaction as well as safety and security. One example of our successfully completed projects is the solution provided for KingShakaInternationalAirport in KZN. The premise must able to handle six million passengers annually. It is expected to be fully operational by 2010. The client approached us for a proven effective web based surveillance platform to ensure that monitoring can be done remotely, to ensure that all parties involved could monitor the project process.
The client wanted to achieve various objectives including that of alerts where progress was not sufficient, wanted difficult lighting issues addressed, needed trustworthy bandwidth, remote access, and usage of an existing infrastructure. The solution decided upon was that of various Axis 221 network cameras for surveillance installed at specific points.
The reason for the selection of the above cameras was based on functionality. The Axis 221 network cameras can record as many as 45 frames in a second with high resolution, have both day and night functionality and enable multi-window motion detection abilities. These characteristics are important for airport surveillance where the lighting conditions may not always be perfect. The solution must be able to work indoors and outdoors and be appropriate for a wide variety of locations.
The above is just one example of how we work with the client to come up with an appropriate safety and security solution. You can view more completed projects at our website and contact us today to discuss your particular surveillance, building protection, and risk management requirements.
